Klaket is a collaborative theatre project using non-traditional tools to highlight the current situation in Jordan between the host community and the refugees. The goal of the project is to create and present a play discussing existing issues and stereotypes between the two groups and open up dialogue. The performance has been staged by young talent under the guidance of professional actors from both communities. Working under the expert supervision the young actors will have the opportunity to both create the script and perform. The play has been presented in front of live audiences in different areas of Jordan in a three-month tour in the hope of initiating new understanding and strengthen ties between the two communities.
